I love coming here every Sunday!! Come rain, snow and sunshine you will find Merko. And his amazing orange camper van. Incredible that he can serve such great coffees from this van, when so many high street outlets fail. Good choice of wines, beers, cocktails and soft drink - all you need is to grab a scrummy meal from the Grain Store, sit, relax and watch the colour, sights and sounds of Portobello drift by....

I went to portobello market for the first time yesterday and had the fantastic opportunity to meet Mirco at the Orange Coffee stall. Not only did he serve us fantastic wines at bargain prices, but he was also just an incredibly nice person. Its refreshing to see someone who really cares about their craft and shows passion for what they do. Needless to say, I highly recommend everyone checking out this stall!! What a great experience!

“Portobello’s very epicentre of local chilling”.Been very often to this place and it always brings joy to sit there and meet people or simply look at the fleeing melee of the peak hour days. Recommendable for genuine and tasty arabica espresso coffees. It’s made with an original vintage San Marco machine with levers. Good beers and especially enjoyable prosecco based cocktails, a panacea against the summer heat. Recommended for a quick breakfast as well as to thoroughly enjoy the blue hours (around and after sunses) of the day.An experience rather than a simple pop up bar.

Found this guy on Portobello Road at the markets. A shrewd extortionist, he has the only seating in the area and will force you to buy his product before you're allowed to sit down. He controls this vehemently and will forcibly prevent you from sitting anywhere else. This man's business practices fly in the face of the philosophy of the markets. He should drop the charade and simply charge for seating or trust that his product is adequate enough that it will be profitable of its own volition ...or just quit.
