Hi! If you are looking for an excellent way to meet new people and learn how to dance Forró, I highly recommend you to join this team. I've taken an outdoor class at Hyde Park, and it was superb. The teacher was brilliant and attentive to details. Very nice group! Have fun and go dancing!

Having attended both the Sunday session in Hyde Park and the Tuesday beginner's class at the Lighthouse, I would highly recommend Forró Foundations' classes to anyone looking to either build on their Forró skills, or pick the dance up from scratch. They are truly sessions where all levels are welcome (the intermediate class runs simultaneously and looked super fun too!) and it is a really friendly, welcoming environment. Both Chinedu and Jonathan are excellent teachers, who explain the steps really clearly, demonstrate them a number of times them so you can follow, and then you get a tonne of time to practice with the others in the class! 11/10 would recommend.

Chinedu and Francesca are amazing. They're friendly, insanely knowledgeable Forró dancers. I'm so glad to come to their classes. They are individually attentive and explain the nuances of the dance simply; I'm unlearning bad habits and visibly improving in every single class. Awesome!

Very warm and friendly atmosphere and everything explained really well. I went on my own having never done this kind of dancing before, had a great evening, and am fired up to continue! I’ve done other dance classes and this was particularly enjoyable and easy to get into even as a beginner.

It's my first time to any kind of dance class and Chinedu and the teachers have made it welcoming, fun and enjoyable for my introduction into Forró. There is a great community and the teaching is clear and well structured. I would highly recommend visiting Forro Foundation if you're a beginner, intermediate or even advanced as there is always something to learn or teach.
